Pelvic Floor Muscle Retraining

Here is one of the most common & simple methods of pelvic floor muscle retraining referred to as the “elevator exercise”.
The patient is to pretend to stop “urination” mid-flow and visualize contracting and elevating the PF muscles, as if it was an elevator going up three floors.
Go up and down the elevator and hold each level for 5 seconds repeat 5 times at least 5 sets per day. Coming down the elevator with control should be the primary focus.
